MTE Design Team Post or THANK YOU for knowing what a slob I am :)

Just punches, spellbinders, paper and MTE Stamps a truly
therapeutic card

A  while ago, WELL a LONG while ago I started following this amazing womans blog, because of the simply amazing things she did with paper, I'm sure you know her! Her name is Thienly and her blog is Mod Paperie, and we've become friends, in fact my family and her family are friends because we got to meet one magical rainy day at California Adventure at the Disneyland Resorts. We hit it off right away, our kids got along famously. Her husband and her parents are some of the coolest and kindest people I've ever met. They all hold a special place in my and my families heart.

Anyhoo so this year we got to meet up again at Disneyland, and it was just like old times. And her MOM...CHI is also very creative but she uses fabric, she made me a purse the FIRST time I ever met her, then this year she made me a apron to wear while I'm crafting! It was perfect! How did she know that I'm a total slob and always misplacing things? AND it matches my craft room and all of you will understand why this is SO important.
It's just perfect isn't it?
I had to thank her for it, so I made her a card I used only border punches, spellbinders, my MTE stamps and paper. It really is very nice to just start matching papers then glue it up instead of fussing with svgs...not that I could ever give those up but it's nice to make a pretty thing, simply.

MTE & Trendy Twine Spooktacular Blog hop

Translation= My Thoughts Exactly and Trendy Twine blog hop=Complete paper happiness

Woo hoo you made it!
 here's the line up....

Here is the fabulous bundle that can be yours for $10.00! Yes that's right $10 you will receive 10 yards each Grape Limeade (exclusive to this bundle), Grape Licorice, and Lime Licorice, the Jack-O-Lantern stamps with coordinating SVGS!  Please remember this set is once it's gone it's gone!

Have you ever "smashed"? No! Not last nights binging but a journal of sorts of WHATEVER you like to take pictures of gum on sidewalks, sandles with shorts and black socks, overly tan tanning booth victims,  well smash it then! It's a personal scrapping/journal thing. But since I'm not so imaginative this particular project was my kids on Halloween, ya I know. (I have to say that I JUST developed the roll of film from my old camera...pretty sad huh? Yes if I had a digital fancy schmancy camera I wouldn't have anything to complain about now would I?) I have ALOT of pictures just because I suck at pretty much everything AND photography is definitely on the I suck at this list, so please accept my apologies on the glare now.

Oh so here's the special bundle in action....I imagine once you get your little bundle O'Halloween Joy you'll be whipping out those amazing little Halloween projects that make me jealous but nevertheless onward to my Smash!

My kids were easy last year, store bought costumes are AWESOME! I've made many and last year was a year off. Now doesn't my son look gruesome? In reality his sister is the brave one, he can't go to the Scary houses, he runs back to me cowering while he asks her to get him candy. Oh the stories for blackmail later just makes me all warm and fuzzy.
I used the Jack O'lantern stamps & the "Too Cute to Spook"
from Fright Night Phrases

Here's a dimensional look at my wiggley pumpkin....

Don't you LOVE that twine?! I see it for all kinds of projects....monsters come to mind!
I used the DCWV Doodlin' all year  paperstack

I used the smash fun stamp for the date...

So I'm probably not a TRUE smasher but hey not bad for the first REAL pages....I'm really a scrapper so why fight it!

MTE Design Team Post or Bee's with Birds!

I let the cute paper do it with this one!

Have you heard my fave stamps are back in stock? Yep the sentiments are back and I would hurry if I were you!

For this card I used  the Mothers Day Subway Art set, MTE Mini Thoughts and MME "fine & dandy" paper pad, spellbinders and a little dollar stamp from Michaels...(I always think I look like a transient pushing and shoving the contents of the dollar bins around as I mumble to myself, but in my bargain induced zombie state I do find some cuties).
I think the hardest thing about double sided paper is
deciding WHICH side you want to use!
Just a couple of notes for you....the new challenge is live at MTE, Don't be afraid, it's is a heck of alot of fun!

Also come back on Saturday for the special blog hop with Trendy Twine and MTE....there is some serious talent with this's like a spooktacular American Made hop since Trendy Twine AND MTE acrylic stamps are made right here in the USA! There is a special stamp & twine bundle too that you won't want to miss.
I will have the line up in my post that day...

ME-Belinda aka Bee
Alyssa = MTE

I am so excited that last years Halloween stamps are back from MTE in stock, as well as this years! Which are adorable as well. I used the heck out of last years and this year is shaping up to be NO different.

I have a friend, and with that friend came a wonderful family network with her. They are wonderful and some of my favorite people on the planet...but most importantly they have a great Halloween party every year, last year we had to take a hiatus for the Doodle man but he's doing so much better after his cancer treatments, the party is BACK on! I decided to make her invitations since this way she HAS to invite my family if I make the invitations. If not I'll crash the party- it's that fun
Fright Night Friends

I have to say this little ghost is my favorite, I like to place him in such a way as to make him look nervous about what's behind him, as most of us are when we're walking through a Haunted House, a dark hallway, plant nursery, the grocery get the idea.

"They're behind me...aren't they?"

"I sense something behind me"

"WHAT was THAT?!"

I assembled the various stamps from the Grillin' & Chillin then used a sharpie to draw the lines. But really the LONGEST/Hardest thing for me to do was decide which papers I wanted to use.

So make sure you enter the challenges that will begin this Sunday by just using any of MTE files, but make sure it's goodie/treat bag/ box of any kind.
There are going to be some crackalackin' deals on the Halloween stamps, my favorite one is the Halloween bundle which saves you $7.00 and you get ALL of them, year and last year! Use the Rafflecopter link below to enter the giveaway
