Sweet Thoughts for some Sweet Cutie Patooties

Sweet CupCake Slider Card
My girls turned 6! My sweet friend Lisa's little twin girls had a birthday party on Sunday. It was so nice to see the people that I just don't get to spend enough time with. Do you have people like that in your life? People that you just always feel calm and happy being around? I hope you do.
It looks like such a innocent little cupcake-
And it is!

But pull that little gumball and you will see how
really sweet it is....Don't ya love the Stamps!?
These are the Sweet Thoughts Stamps
My evil twin Bee sent me the sweetest little box with all kinds of paper junkie goodies in it, and I'm really weird about using them, only for super duper special people will I part with these little treasures. But these are "my girls"! They were so tiny when I first met them, and so very shy of me. Now no meeting with my girls can go by without me getting a big hug from my little sweethearts. My kids fill my heart, but the love from our friends covers my heart. So as I was saying, my evil twin, sent me a tiny box O'treasures. She included these cute little tags...Perfect for using
My Thoughts Exactly sentiment stamps! In particular I used the "Sweet Thoughts" set, a VivaPen to dot the "i"s and tattered angels glam in "chandelier" brushed over the top of this cute little card. I had my sweet little girls in mind when I made this slider card.

I have this card for sale at my store:) Yes this one will cross over into invites, thank you's, and whatever your heart desires.
I used Glimmer Mist in pomegranate on the gumball but didn't like
it so I used the Tattered Angels Glam in chandelier to lighten it
up. Did you know Glimmer mist will soak ALL the way through?
Yes Glimmer mist goes through all the way! But check
out my handy little easel! Turns any card into a displayable art!

If you've bought a set of My thoughts Exactly stamps or my svgs- give me a shout out with your email address and I'll send you the easel file, it's super easy to attach to the back!

Thanks for stopping by and if you haven't visited my evil twins blog go check her blog out, she's definitely my crafty side:)

Congratulations you crafty ladies!

Now for those that didn't google it (it took some time even with Google!) however the movie is
"On Borrowed Time" it was made in 1939, starred Lionel Barrymore as the grandfather. He catches death in a tree and death lives "where the woodbine twineth". Aunt Demetrious is the Pismire which in the meanest Ant to ever live. It's a great concept of a movie and was so funny and sad at the same time." The warped frustrated old man" is from another classic you'll recognize It's a wonderful Life.  I know- all black & white no special effects but some of the timeless movies that still influence some of the better movies of today.  Thank you everyone for visiting and having fun with us- here endeth the lesson.

I did these pretty small at 4 inches wide.
I used my Wicked Tags at about 1 1/2 - 2 inches high. I attached clear
thread to the ghosties.
Treat bags MORE Treat Bags- but luckily I used the stamps from
My thoughts Exactly, making it extremely easy. I used Trendy Twine in Orange Licorice:)

My Thoughts Exactly Halloween Release or want some candy?! muuuwaaa aaa aaaaaa

I was never much for Halloween until I gave birth to a couple of sugar junkies..then it became an opportunity to enjoy watching my kids in adorable costumes, my special Mommy drink while conversing with my neighbors! I love my neighborhood during Halloween, and now as my kids are getting more adventurous, they will shakily approach THAT house that goes over the top, that HOUSE that delights in scaring the pee out of my kids.

This year I have both kids in ONE class, so to do a Halloween treat bag is definitely going to be done with style since My Thoughts Exactly has released these Freaking AWESOME Halloween stamps! Mind you these won't be just for  Halloween, I'm going to use these for all those Monster birthday cards and many of the phrases I use often like "Bite me!" "Witch".... you get the idea.

So what I did to make this cute little treat bag was- used the creepy background paper cut to size, used my fly by bat from the Bee Witchin' Halloween Collection in different forms, shadows and a pointy shadow (which will remove the eyes and mouth) and the sign shape standard in SCAL coupled with Alyssa's stamps and the sign post, a couple of little bone brads, And of course Trendy Twine in Orange Licorice it went together really fast. Now here's where I tell you what I do wrong but this time I didn't get all excited to use adhesive and past the background paper on first before attaching the brads and all the fun stuff! I actually did it the right way:)
I used the Ghostly Greetings stamps

pop dots are my friend:)
